Jamie started out his working life as a chef from Port Talbot, working across Europe before establishing his home in Newport. After several grueling years working obscene hours for little reward he decided enough was enough.

Jamie and his wife purchased their first home in 2015. This is when Jamie began to realise his true potential as a Handyman. Owning his own home and being too stubborn to pay the rates of electricians, plumbers and carpenters he decided to teach himself (most of the time with great success) Hence My Local Handyman was created. He now offers his services across the South West to people who don't have the time or the passion to repair and make new things around the home.
